Ycs Computers is one of the leading computer recyclers, refurbishers and remarketers in Leeds. We do not charge a penny for recycling your IT equipment if you can deliver or  arrange your own form of transport. However, we do charge for our collection service for schools, companies and organisations who cannot deliver their IT equipment to our recycling centre.

We collect and recycle pcs, laptops, monitors, printers, photocopiers, projectors and mobile phones, we refurbish them and re-donate them to charities that we support. Some equipment may be sold off at discounted charity prices to cover some basic running cost of our engineers and volunteers.

We are a social enterprise and any equipment donated to us are professionally refurbish by in-house engineers and apprentice trainees from the local community, Roseville Skills Enterprise (Part of Leeds City Council), Mencap, Future Pathways and students from Leeds College Of Technology. Ycs Computers gives young and unemployed youths from the local community the opportunity to train how to repair and refurbish computers in our workshop. This helps to keep the young and unemployed out of the streets and give them the opportunity to do something useful.

We treat data destruction as a priority. Hard drives from recycled computers are professionally wiped using specialist software for securely wiping the hard drives. No data can be retrieved. Once this is done, you the client will be issued with a certificate of destruction listing every data carrying device in the computer. We take ownership of the equipment once you donate it to us.
